September 12, 2009 – The Killers invade Orlando playing at UCF Arena on Thursday, October 1, 2009. Special Guest Chairlift is scheduled to perform with the show starting at 8:00 pm. Tickets start at $33.00 for advance purchase and are now on sale.

The Killers formed in 2002 in Las Vegas, NV. Their debut album, “Hot Fuss” was released in 2004, peaking at #7 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, selling over 7.5 million copies worldwide and receiving five Grammy nominations . The band's sophomore effect, “Sam's Town” was released in 2006, selling over 2 million copies worldwide, winning a Brit Award for best international album, with two singles from the album, “Read My Mind” and “When You Were Young” landing in the top ten of the Billboard Alternative Songs chart. In 2007, The Killers released, “Sawdust” the album debuted at #12 on the Top 200 , selling over 80,000 copies in the first week. The band's latest album, “Day & Age” was released in November 2008; the album sold over 193,000 copies in the first week landing at #6 on the Top 200 chart, In addition to being certified gold in the United States, the album ranked #2 on the New York Post 's Top 10 Albums of the year for 2008. The Killers have sold over 15 million records worldwide.

Aaron Pfenning and Caroline Polachek formed Chairlift in 2005, while attending the University of Colorado. In 2006, they relocated to Brooklyn, NY. In 2007, Patrick Wimberly joined the band and the EP “Daylight Savings” was self-released. Chairlift 's debut album “Does You Inspire You” was released in 2008 and re-released on April 21, 2009 on Columbia Records with two additional tracks added and a longer version of the song “Make Your Mind Up”. In June 2009, Chairlift performed the song “Bruises” on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

Show starts at 8:00 pm with tickets costing, $33.00 - $36.00 - $50.00 for advance purchase and $36.00 - $39.00 - $53.00 for day of show purchase. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online by visiting the Ticketmaster website. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the UCF Arena box office.
