Legendary Red Hot Chilli Peppers To Take Over Fuse's New York City Studios In Celebration Of New Album 'Stadium Arcadium' On Day Of Release Performance Mark's Fuse's First High Definition Co-Production With Sister Newwork Voom And Madison Square Garden Show Premieres On Fuse May 20, 2006 At 8:00 pm ET/5:00 pm PT

Live Concert Special 'Breaking The Record: Red Hot Chili Peppers' Premieres on fuse May 20, 2006 at 8pm (ET)

New York, NY (May 08, 2006) - fuse, the nation's only viewer-influenced, music television network announced today a live performance by legendary rockers the Red Hot Chili Peppers. On May 9, the iconic band will perform songs off their highly anticipated Warner Bros. album Stadium Arcadium along with some of their biggest hits at the newly revamped fuse studios. Breaking The Record: Red Hot Chili Peppers will be broadcast live onto 7th Avenue via fuse's new state-of-the-art outdoor marquee and plasma screens in tandem with Madison Square Garden's legendary marquee located directly across the street from the fuse studios. The show will be recorded in 5.1 audio, high definition and will premiere on fuse May 20 at 8pm (ET) followed by the HD premiere on VOOM's Rave HD, the first high-definition music channel, in July of this year. This production marks the first time-fuse has co-produced a live music event with two of its sister companies.

The Chili Peppers' first new studio album in four years, Stadium Arcadium," was produced by long-time collaborator Rick Rubin. The collection contains 28 songs divided between two discs, one named "Jupiter" (which includes the album's first single "Dani California" and the band's ninth #1 Modern Rock track) and the other "Mars."
