AVP & JetBlue Announce Sponsorship Agreement Airline To Sponsor Sacramento, Brooklyn And Manhattan Beach Stops On
the 2006 AVP Crocs Tour
LOS ANGELES - June 5, 2006 - AVP Pro Beach Volleyball
Tour, Inc., a
wholly-owned subsidiary of AVP, Inc., a
lifestyle sports
entertainment company focused on
professional beach volleyball, and
JetBlue Airways, the
nation's leading low fare airline, today announced
a new, sponsorship agreement for this 2006 AVP Crocs Tour
season. The
national touring series, features more than 200
of the nation's top male
and female professional beach
volleyball players.
As part of the deal, JetBlue will sponsor three stops on the
2006 AVP
Crocs Tour - the Sacramento Open (June 15-18,
2006) followed by the Manhattan
Beach Open (August 10-13, 2006 ) and the Brooklyn Open (August 17-20, 2006).
Highlights of the deal include:
* JetBlue will receive tent space in the "AVP Exhibition
Village"
and Center Court promotions throughout the three sponsored tournaments
* AVP will provide JetBlue with a presenting sponsorship of six
issues of the AVP's bi-monthly newsletter during the 2006 calendar year
* Jet Blue will provide 75 complimentary, round-trip flights for
AVP use during the course of the season.
